What happens to my energy supply if I'm moving business or have just moved in?
Moving your business premises can be overwhelming. We're here to make the energy part easier. First off you won’t be cut off. The energy company that currently supplies your new business premises will keep supplying you and you’ll pay them for the electricity and gas you use - until you let them know what you want to do.
Next, we can help set up your electricity and gas account at your new business premises in no time at all. That way you get to keep that feel-good energy feeling.
If you've moved into a property where we already supply the electricity and/or gas, then get in touch with the details below so we can get you up and running.
What happens if I am moving out of my business premise?
If you’re moving out of a business property supplied by us drop us an email at email@example.com or give us a call on 0808 501 5699 whether you wish to stay with us at your new property or not.
This way we can close the account linked with your old property and start switching to your new premises if you want us to.
Just please make sure you include or have with you to hand:
The date you moved out.
Your final meter readings on the day you moved out.
Your forwarding address.
Your landlords details or details of the new freeholder.
What happens if I am moving in to a business premise supplied by E.ON Next?
If you’ve just moved into a property supplied by us, we’ll be in touch to welcome you to your new property as your new energy company.
If you haven’t heard from us and want to set up your new account, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call on 0808 501 5699 with:
Your name, business name and type of business.
Phone number and a suitable time to give you a call.
Confirmed email address to contact you on.
The date you moved in to your new business property.
Meter readings for the day you moved in.
Need some more help moving business?
We've got some useful advice for you how you can give us your meter readings. If you've got a smart meter we'd still recommend you take your electricity and gas meter readings. If you change your energy supplier once you've moved in, they'll send you a final bill using the meter readings you send us.
