What could you save on each solar package?
We offer two main packages, each designed to suit different roofs and energy needs.
The E.ON Energise package.
E.ON Energise is our most affordable option. It’s ideal for unshaded roofs, and gives you excellent performance without putting you out of pocket. A typical 6 panel (2.76 kWp) home solar system starts from just £4,995.2
Thanks to our limited time offer, you could save up to £1,800. When you buy a 12 panel system, we’ll discount 6 panels, including fixings.
The E.ON Optimise package.
Then, there’s E.ON Optimise – solar panels fitted onto your roof, coupled with industry leading SolarEdge technology. It’s the ideal setup for a roof with shading from trees or chimneys. A typical 6 panel (2.76 kWp) system with on-roof solar panels starts from just £6,047.2
What are the benefits of installing solar panels?
Beyond the cost savings from our current offer, installing solar panels with us has a number of long term benefits for your home and wallet.
You could reduce your energy bills.
Did you know that installing solar panels has the potential to reduce your electricity bills? An average 5.52 kWp system with a 5.1 kWh battery could save you around £806 per year.3
You could store excess energy.
By adding a battery to your investment, you could store your excess energy. When bought with solar panels, a battery allows you to store excess energy generated throughout the day to use at night, helping you to save more. Battery savings are based on fitting a 5.1 kWh (usable) battery.
You could earn by exporting your excess energy.
You can make solar energy work for you by potentially earning up to 21p per kWh. This works by exporting your excess solar energy back to the grid, thanks to our Smart Export Guarantee (SEG)4 tariff.
The SEG is a government backed scheme that pays you for any excess electricity you generate and exports it back to the grid. It's a clever way of earning money from your system. Learn more about the Smart Export Guarantee.
You could benefit from off-peak charging.
By choosing our Next Smart Saver tariff, you could unlock cheaper electricity at certain times of day, compared to our standard variable tariff.5 The Next Smart Saver is a time of use tariff, meaning you’ll be charged different amounts for electricity depending on the time of day.
You can recharge your solar battery at cheaper times of day and store the electricity to use later, when it might otherwise be more expensive. Stored electricity is also handy when your solar panels aren’t generating enough power on their own (for example, overnight).

Is a solar battery needed with solar panels?
Though a battery isn't a necessity, it's a good way to get the most out of your solar panels. It enables you to store the excess energy you generate during the day and use it later. This clever setup helps you become even more independent from the grid.
