Have you downloaded our nifty app yet? We’ve designed a range of tools to help you take your energy into your own hands. Whether you're checking your latest energy use trends, or using the in-app torch to help see your meter readings, our app will help you take control of your electricity and gas.
Plus, you can use the app to manage both your home and business energy accounts. Perfect for staying on top of your energy use, all from one place.

Once you’ve downloaded the app, simply log in to your account or set a new password if you’ve recently been moved over to us. As long as you’re getting emails from us, the app is ready and waiting for you to use.
You can now use Face ID or Touch ID to log in so you never have to worry about remembering your password again.
Understand and easily manage your energy use on the app.
Check your energy use graphs to see when you’re using the most energy on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. You can switch between electricity and gas, or see both at once. This handy tool uses the information gained from your smart meter to help you spot opportunities to save energy and potentially lower your bills.

It’s especially helpful if you’re on a time of use tariff, as it can help you see how much energy you’re using during peak and off-peak times, so you can adjust accordingly and potentially save even more. If you’re on a time of use tariff, you’ll see a daily and monthly view.
With an account health check, we can make sure your smart meter is connected and sharing your energy use accurately with us so you only get billed for the energy you use. We can also tell you handy stuff like when to send meter readings or look for a new tariff.
Download your energy statements with the app and check your past energy use over time. The more you look back, the more you’ll understand how your energy use changes throughout the year so you can budget for the future.
If you have a time of use tariff, such as Next Drive, you can get even more insights into your energy use throughout the day to help you maximise your bill savings.

While energy use is typically measured in kilowatt hours (kWh), we know that might be harder for some people to understand. That’s why we give you the option to check your energy use in kWh or pounds and pence, so you can see the actual cost of the energy you use and budget more accurately.

If you don’t have a smart meter installed yet, you can easily send us your monthly meter readings through the app to keep your account up to date and get accurate statements. We’ve even included a handy flashlight with the app so you can check your readings in those dark and dingy meter cupboards.
With the E.ON Next app you can:
Check your balance and top up when you need to.
Look through your top up history.
Get your payment code if needed.
You can also opt in for low balance alerts, straight to your phone, so you’re never caught off-guard.
You can set up a monthly Direct Debit through the app to help you spread your electricity and gas payments throughout the year. You can also manage your Direct Debit in the app and update your bank details.
If you want to make a speedy one-off energy payment, you can do this with a few taps in the app.
Moving home? Take your energy tariff with you. With a few simple steps in the app, you can bring your E.ON Next tariff and all its great benefits with you to your new place.
You’ll just need to tell us a few details like when and where you’ve moved and your opening meter readings.
