What can I do in the E.ON Next app?
Whether you’re a home or business customer you can now manage your account quickly and easily wherever you are.
Here’s what you can do:
Use Face ID or Touch ID login so you never have to worry about remembering your password again.
Set a new password if you’ve recently been moved over to us (as long as you’re getting emails from us, the app is ready and waiting for you to use!)
Send in your meter readings – we’re even got a handy in-app torch for those dark and dingy meter cupboards.
View and download your statements as well as keep up to date with your latest account balance.
Make payments easily.
Check your tariff details and renewal dates.
Manage your account information.
Opt in for notifications to get reminders when there’s something new to see or we need something from you.
We’re still working on more new features for the app so watch this space and keep your app up to date.
How do I download the E.ON Next app?
You can download our app from the Apple App Store or Google Play store.
To download and use our app, your device will need to meet the following requirements:
Android or iOS operating system.
Android devices running Android 7 and above.
Apple devices running iOS 12 and above.
You can download and use our app on an iPad or Tablet if you’d prefer, however it is designed and optimized for a phone screen.
Do I get charged for using the E.ON Next app?
The app itself is free, including the videos you can watch on it, but your phone company may charge you for the data you use. It's best to check with them if you're not sure what you pay for using the internet.
What should I do if I'm having problems once the app has downloaded?
If the app's not working properly, it might be worth checking to see if there are any updates available. (You can find and download any updates on the App Store on your iPhone). If there are no updates available, try deleting the app off your iPhone or iPad and re-installing it.
To remove it, hold your finger on the application icon on your iPhone or iPad until your app icons start to wiggle. Click the 'x' in the corner of our app icon and choose 'Delete'. Then, follow the steps for installing the app and hopefully it should work again.
If it's not working at all, try deleting it off your phone and reinstalling it.
Having trouble logging in to the E.ON Next app?
You can use the same details to log in to our app as you do the website. If you’ve recently joined us as a new customer or migrated over to us from E.ON, npower or HUB energy then you’ll need to set a new password if you’ve never logged in with E.ON Next before.
You can reset your password at any time through the app or the website.
The first time you log in we’ll ask you if you want to use Biometrics to log in (such as Face ID, if your phone supports this) - this way you won’t need to remember and type in your password every time.
How can I turn off app notifications?
You can turn off notifications at any time through the profile section in app. Just tap on the ‘More’ menu in the bottom navigation and select ‘Profile’ from the top of the list.
