E.ON Next confirms its customers will get the full effect of the Government’s energy cuts from April.

E.ON Next has promised to pass on every penny of the Government energy bill savings to customers when they kick in April 2026.

The supplier confirmed immediately after the Budget that it would hand back the full savings and has now issued fresh guidance to spell out exactly how customers will benefit.

The message is simple: the cuts will be passed on.

That includes households on fixed tariffs, not just those on variable deals.

And customers do not need to do anything - the lower costs will be applied automatically to bills from April.

A spokesperson for E.ON Next said: “When these savings start in April, we’ll pass them on in full to all our customers. No ifs. No buts. No small print. People are under pressure and they deserve to feel the benefit directly on their bills.”

The move follows Government action to reduce policy costs added to energy bills, with the Labour administration predicting its actions will save the average household around £150 a year.

E.ON Next says it moved quickly to give customers clarity and reassurance, confirming that the savings will be passed through as soon as they take effect.

The key points:

  • 100% of savings passed on.

  • Applies to variable and fixed deals.

  • Automatically applied from when the Government cuts begin in April.

  • No need to call or switch.

The announcement is a boost for millions of households worried about the cost of living with E.ON Next saying fairness and transparency come first.
