Proud to be an official partner of Nottingham Forest Football Club.

Kicking off our climate collaboration.

E.ON have been Nottingham Forest’s Official Sustainability Partner since 2021 and continue to help them champion sustainability in sports.

At E.ON Next, we’re proud to be picking up the baton in supporting our home team and their sustainability goals.

To get the ball rolling, we’re excited to announce that we’re the new Official Training Wear Partner and Women’s Front of Shirt Sponsor for the 24/25 season.

Our sustainability partnership.

In 2022, E.ON carried out a comprehensive energy audit and recommended tailored actions to help the Club’s sites, stadium, and training ground up their energy efficiency game.

Throughout the season, we’ll be continuing several innovative projects and upholding the partnership’s legacy of championing climate action.

In support of the Club’s low-carbon ambitions, we’re helping them to reduce their emissions with the new solar powered Fan Zone. The Fan Zone opened for the first time in December 2023 and is already proving to be a popular match-day destination.

We’ll also be helping to raise awareness of key topics around energy and climate change. Our aim is to inspire the team and fans to make simple changes that can help reduce their carbon footprint at home, on the go, and even during matches

The Club has also recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with E.ON in addition to our renewed partnership. The commitment aims to improve sustainability at both The City Ground and Nigel Doughty Academy.

With help from our sustainability partnership, Nottingham Forest has been recognised by Sport Positive for their commitment to sustainability. Sport Positive supports the global sports community to increase ambition and take action on climate change and sustainability.

A sustainability success story.

Removing single-use plastics.

We’ve helped the club remove all one-use plastic straws, cups, and cutlery from their stadium.

Promoting public transport.

Nottingham Forest supporters can get a discount in the club store when they travel to any home first-team match by public transport.

Zero waste to landfill.

Between October 2023 and January 2024 we supported the team’s efforts to reduce, reuse, and recycle - with zero waste going to landfill.

Paul Bell, Chief Operating Officer at Nottingham Forest.

“We are hugely proud of our partnership with E.ON and excited to be wearing the E.ON Next brand across all Training Wear for the '24/'25 season.

The relationship has allowed us to make some fantastic progress in the last year building a more sustainable Nottingham Forest and we can't wait to continue on that journey."

Scott Somerville, Director of External Affairs at E.ON UK.

"E.ON Next is the playmaker of the energy transition and I’m proud of all the steps we’re taking to make new energy work and all of the efforts we’ve made – and will continue to make – as part of the sustainability journey of the Nottingham Forest teams, their fans, and the wider city.

As a City Ground season ticket holder myself, I’m very aware of the role that football clubs, especially Nottingham Forest, have at the heart of their communities and how they can inspire people on the pitch and in their daily lives, which is why it means so much to us to help the club and to spread that message even wider."
