Does my business need a half hourly meter?

Half hourly meters are normally for businesses that have a high power demand, however almost any business can request one.

If your Profile Class is 00 then you’re required to have a half hourly meter. You can check this by looking at the first 2 digits of your Meter Point Administration Number (MPAN) on your electricity bill.

Once you have a half hourly meter you’ll also need a meter operator, data collector and data aggregator. All of these we can handle for you.
