Prize draw competition.

By entering this prize draw, customers agree to the terms and conditions set out below. Terms and conditions updated 8 August 2022, “Entry criteria” section.

The Promoter:

The Promoter is E.ON Next Energy Limited, Westwood way, Westwood Business Park, Coventry, CV4 8LG.

To Enter:

Eligible customers will receive an email with a unique code and a link to the prize draw page. The customer will need to input the code and their email address (the one linked to their energy account) into the page to register for the prize draw.

Entry Criteria:

Promotion Period:

July: The prize draw will open for entries on 13th July and close at 23:59 on 29th July.

August: The prize draw will open for entries on 9th August and close at 23:59 on 26th August.

September: Winners will be announced on 28th September

October: Winners will be announced on 26th October

November: Winners will be announced on 30th November

December: Winners will be announced on 21st December

You will be entered into the prize draw each month automatically. You do not need to take any further action.

The Prize Draw is open to domestic account holders who are on supply with E.ON Next between the dates of 1st July and 31st December.

Offer not available to employees of E.ON UK or those living in the same household as an employee of E.ON UK and anyone professionally associated with this Promotion.

Eligible customers for the purposes of this prize draw are customers who have opted into email marketing communication from E.ON Next and have received a Prize Draw Entry email.

Entrants must be aged 18 or over and live in Great Britain.

Entrants must be the E.ON Next account holder or have explicit permission from the account holder to enter. The prize is only redeemable by the account holder and there is a maximum of one prize per account.

Entering and or winning other E.ON Next promotions or prize draws does not disqualify entrants from winning this prize draw.

Maximum of one entry per household (defined as persons living at the same address) . Duplicate entries will be removed ahead of the prize draw. Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted. We reserve the right to exclude fraudulent entries.

1 provisional winner and 10 provisional runners up will be randomly selected each month from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period. For your total confidence, the Prize draw will be conducted by PromoVeritas, the independent promotional verification service.

The Prizes:

There will be 1 x Main Prize winner and 10 Runner Up Winners each month from July to December.

There will be 1 winner every month. The winner will win between £1500 and £4000 off one of the selection of energy solutions offered by E.ON UK or the equivalent bill credit on your E.ON Next tariff. The winner has the opportunity to have a free consultation with a home solutions expert to help them decide which solution is best for them. If you rent the property you wish to install an energy solution in, please ensure you seek permission from your landlord first.

If the cost of the energy solution is less than the prize amount, the difference will be awarded as bill credit. Please see the ‘Bill Credit Equivalent’ section for details on how this will be paid.

Main Prize Energy Solution Options:

Money off a Boiler:

If you choose to have the winning prize amount off this solution, you would be required to book a video call with a heating expert using a link. The heating expert will talk through your needs, ask you to show them your current boiler, and will discuss your options and provide a quotation for a new boiler.

Your winning discount code will be applied to the quote which is valid for 30 days. Payment options are available, so you can spread the cost of your new boiler into manageable monthly payments over four years, interest-free, with 0% APR boiler finance1. We're a credit broker and not a lender.

Solar:

Customers that choose to have the winning prize amount off this solution would be required to get a price from E.ON UK online and then book a survey with a solar expert to discuss it. The solar expert will talk through your needs, confirming your details, including your roof size and its position, and present your targeted options.

You may be required to have a free survey done at your property to ensure it is suitable.

Your winning discount code will need to be applied at the quote stage with the price being valid for 30 days. Payment options are available, so you can spread the cost of your new solar panels into manageable monthly payments over three years, interest-free, with 0% APR finance1.

Air Source Heat Pump:

Customers that choose to have the winning prize amount off this solution would be required to go through an online journey where a video call would be booked with a Heating expert who will do an online assessment of your requirements.

A full site survey will need to be carried out to fully quote your system.

Your winning discount code will be applied to the total cost of your quote.

Payment options are available, so you can spread the cost of your new ASHP into manageable monthly payments including two years interest-free, with 0% APR boiler finance1.

Bill Credit Equivalent

If the winning customer chooses bill credit, the payments will be split into monthly payments of £250 that will continue until the full amount has been paid.

If the winning customer switches Suppliers before the full bill credit amount has been paid , E.ON Next, the Promoter, reserves the right to withhold/cancel any remaining monthly payments.

If the winning customer is currently in a debit balance, the balance will be paid from the winning amount up to 0 and then they will receive monthly payments for the remaining amount. This may result in a reduced number of monthly payments and your final payment differing from £250.

If the winner is a pre-payment or pay as you go customer, the monthly payments will vary depending on the maximum credit limit of the meter but the total value of the credit paid to the customer will remain the same.

At the end of the prize period, you will be responsible for paying for your ongoing usage in line with the terms and conditions of your energy account including adjusting your monthly payments so that you do not fall into arrears.

There is no cash alternative to this prize.

Leaving Customers

If you decide to leave E.ON Next whilst you are receiving prize payments, no prize amounts unpaid will be credited to your final bill and you waive your rights to collect any remaining amounts.

10 Runner up Prizes :

tado° Smart Thermostat (it offers a smart way to control heating and hot water).

There will be 10 Runner Up Prize winners each month. Each winner will win 1 x Wireless Smart Thermostat Starter Kit V3+ With Hot Water Control. The Smart Thermostat communicates wirelessly with the boiler via the included Wireless Receiver which also enables hot water control. It is suitable for homes (or apartments) with their own boilers, with the heating controlled by a wireless room thermostat or without a room thermostat.

Smart Thermostat is compatible with central heating systems from all major manufacturers (Alpha, Ariston, Baxi, Biasi, Bosch, British Gas, Ferroli, Glow worm, Grant, Heatline, Ideal, Intergas, Keston, Main, Potterton, Remeha, Vaillant, Viesmann, Warmflow, Worcester.)

The Smart Thermostat can be easily self-installed and will come with instructions based on current heating set-up. If you are not a homeowner, please ensure you obtain permission from your landlord before installing.

In order to use the full range of functions offered by the applications of the Supplier, a working, always-on internet connection must be available at the place of installation. tado° is also compatible with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit and Google Assistant.

Winner Communication:

The provisional winners and provisional runner up prize winners will be informed via email that they have won a Prize and will be asked to confirm their details within 14 days of receiving their initial winning email in order to claim it. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winners. Once eligibility has been confirmed, the provisional winners will be confirmed as a winner. If a provisional winner does not respond to the initial winning email within 14 days, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant and award the Prize to a reserve selected in the same manner. Reserve winners may have less time to respond. The runner up prize will be sent out within 28 days of receiving the address. In the unlikely event that a Prize does not arrive within 28 days the winner must inform the Promoter by emailing hi@eonnext.com . If a winner does not do so, the Promoter reserves the right to not reissue the Prize or limit its value at its sole discretion.

Publicity:

The Promoter may request that winners participate in any reasonable publicity associated with the promotion and by entering into this prize draw. Participation is at the winner’s discretion and is not a condition of Prize Acceptance.

General Terms:

These terms and conditions and the prize draw are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

E.ON Next does not accept any liability for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by the entrants as a result of either participating in the prize draw or being selected for a prize.

The Promoter seeks to run a fair and secure promotion and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entry/ies (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified. Any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoter reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least six months. For this reason, the Promoter reserves the right at any point to:

a. Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or provisional winners by requesting such information it consider reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Prize may be withheld until verification is completed.

b. Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.

c. Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.

d. Disqualify bulk entries from individuals, trade, consumer groups or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.

e. Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, multiple SIM cards for text entries, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.

f. Disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process.

g. Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions.

h. Cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion.

The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason a Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute that Prize for another of equal or greater value.

No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to the prize draw page.

The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion (JS12891) or accepting or using the/a Prize(s), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promotor’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.

The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances.

If any part/s of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.

By entering, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.

Transparency Notice

All personal data supplied for this Promotion will be used solely for the purpose of this Promotion by the Promoter and/or by any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion and will not be disclosed to an unconnected third party unless your positive consent has been obtained. Your data will be shared with Promo Veritas in order to select a winner and fulfil the prize draw. Provided no objection is received from the winners, a winners list containing the surname and county of residence of the winners will be made available by the Promoter 4 weeks after the close of the Promotion Period, for a period of 8 weeks. It will be available by sending a request via email to hi@eonnext.com . The winners can object to their details being published during the Winner Notification process. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority when requested by them.
